8thCardamom pods
10Cloves
10Allspice grains
4thCapsules star anise
1Stick of cinnamon
1Tl coriander seeds
1Tl aniseed
1l dry red wine
1Organic orange
sugar

- Press the cardamom pods open with the broadside of a large knife. Put cardamom, cloves, allspice, star anise, cinnamon stick, coriander and aniseed in a tea bag and tie.
- Cover the red wine and 500 ml water with the teabag and bring to the boil. In the meantime, wash the orange with hot water, dry it and cut it into 1 / 2-1 cm thick slices. Add to the wine and cover and let steep for 15 minutes over a mild heat.
- Squeeze out the tea bag over the wine and remove it. Season the mulled wine with sugar.
