Giant beans

For 2 Servings

1 clove of garlic

1 onion

250 g tomatoes

1 small can of giant white beans (225 g EW)

3 Tbsp olive oil

125 ml vegetable broth

1Tbsp tomato paste

1 El oregano (chopped, alternatively 1-2 tsp dried oregano)



1Pinch of sugar



Finely dice 1 clove of garlic. Cut 1 onion and 250 g tomatoes into wedges.
Rinse 1 small can of giant white beans (225 g PE) in a sieve with cold water and allow to drain.
Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Steam the garlic and onions until translucent. Add tomatoes and sauté briefly. Mix 125 ml vegetable stock and 1 tablespoon tomato paste and pour in. Season with 1 tablespoon of chopped oregano (or 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano) salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar. Add the beans and heat for approx. 6-7 minutes. Serve decorated with oregano leaves.
